Nagoshi Studio

Nagoshi Studio is a Japanese game development studio founded by Toshihiro Nagoshi, the creator of the Yakuza series. Established in November 2021 and officially announced in January 2022, the Tokyo-based studio is a wholly-owned subsidiary of NetEase Games. The studio was formed by Nagoshi along with several other veteran developers, including former Yakuza series producer Daisuke Sato, after their departure from Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio. The team's mission is to develop high-quality console titles for a global audience, with a focus on creating dramatic and groundbreaking gaming experiences.
